WASHINGTON, Feb. 28 -- Rep. Matt Rosendale, R-Montana, issued the following news release:
Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02), sent a letter to Senate and House Appropriations Committees' leadership urging them to prohibit the VA from using funds to submit veterans' names to the National Instance Criminal Background Check Systems (NICS). Currently, the VA is treating veterans who need help managing their money as criminals.
