TRENTON, New Jersey, Feb. 24 -- The New Jersey Assembly Democrats issued the following news release:

Legislation prohibiting colleges and universities from using admissions applications that inquire about an applicant's criminal history passed the Assembly Higher Education Committee on Thursday.
