EAGLE PASS, Florida, Feb. 24 -- The Florida Division of Emergency Management issued the following news release on Feb. 23, 2024:
Today, the Florida Division of Emergency Management announced that Governor DeSantis will send off 75 Florida Highway Patrol Troopers and 50 National Guardsmen to continue to support efforts to protect the southern border.
Florida teams have made contact with nearly 150,000 undocumented migrants and assisted the Texas Department of Public Safe . . .
