Texas U.S. Attorney: Former VA Pharmacy Tech Sentenced to Prison for Stealing Prescription Medications From Veterans

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Feb. 21 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas issued the following news release:

A Kerrville man was sentenced in a federal court in San Antonio to 42 months in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance, theft of government property and possession of stolen mail.

According to court documents, Scott Mitchell Brown, 38, was a pharmacy technician at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical . . .
