Oregon State Legislature: House Republican Leader Responds to 1,500% Increase in Overdoses - 'Majority Must Stop Stalling'

SALEM, Oregon, Feb. 20 -- The Oregon State Legislature issued the following news release:
In response to a report showing that Oregon's overdose rate has grown over 1,500% since before the pandemic, the highest rate of increase in the nation, House Republican Leader Rep. Jeff Helfrich (R-Hood River) issued the following statement.
"A 1500% increase in overdoses is the direct result of Oregon enabling drug use with Measure 110. People will keep dying at nation-leadi . . .
