Houstonians who need opioid overdose help may still struggle to access medication, Baker Institute report shows

HOUSTON, Texas, Feb. 8 -- Rice University issued the following news release:

HOUSTON - (Feb. 8, 2024) - Though opioid overdose remedies are approved for over-the-counter usage, many Houston pharmacies have not made the life-saving medication available, according to a report from Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy.
