GREAT FALLS, Montana, Feb. 1 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Montana issued the following news release on Jan. 31, 2024:
The former operations manager for the Blackfeet Tribe today admitted to stealing more than $78,000 in federal COVID-19 relief funding the tribe received by fraudulently submitting requests for repayments to the tribe after falsely claiming to buy COVID-19 supplies, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said.
