WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 -- Sen. Jack Reed, D-Rhode Island, issued the following news release:
After a bipartisan, bicameral group of lawmakers negotiated a $78 billion package that would revive and expand the child tax credit and temporarily restore various business tax provisions, U.S. Senator Jack Reed encouraged Congress to move forward with the legislation, known as the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act.
