BURLINGTON, Vermont, Jan. 24 -- The University of Vermont issued the following news:

In a new pilot course at the UVM Larner College of Medicine, medical students learn about culinary medicine-the pairing of nutritional science with preventative health care.

Molly Hurd and Sarah Krumholz, co-leaders of Larner's Lifestyle Medicine Student Interest Group, recognized the value of including nutrition in medical education.
