WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 -- Rep. Roger Williams, R-Texas, issued the following news release on Jan. 19, 2024:
Thursday, Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25) introduced the Border Security Reserve Fund Act which establishes a reserve fund at the Department of Treasury to be used by border states and the Border Paatrol to secure our border from illegal immigration. The funding for the account will come from confiscated drug money seized by Customs and Border Protections.
