WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 -- Sen. Jon Tester, D-Montana, chairman of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee, issued the following news:

U.S. Senator Jon Tester, Chairman of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee, recently introduced legislation to ensure veterans whose military records are lost by the U.S. government through no fault of their own can still receive their earned Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits.
