LANSING, Michigan, Jan. 13 -- The Michigan Department of Transportation issued the following news release on Jan. 12, 2024:

Plainfield Charter Township is hosting a public meeting next week to discuss details of a planned joint project between the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Plainfield Charter Township to resurface the M-44 Connector (Plainfield Avenue) from I-96 to Airway Street in 2025.
