TRENTON, New Jersey, Jan. 12 -- The New Jersey Assembly Democrats issued the following news release:
Courts are now required to consider additional criteria when determining whether to issue a final restraining order in domestic violence cases, under legislation sponsored by Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez that was signed into law this week. The new law is a recognition that domestic violence takes many forms.
