NPS Announces Developed Area at Hite, Utah Closed Until Further Notice

PAGE, Arizona, Jan. 12 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service issued the following news release:

Beginning January 15, there will be a temporary closure of the National Park Service's (NPS) developed area in Hite, Utah. Hite is a remote ranger district in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, located at the top of Lake Powell, adjacent to the confluence of the Colorado and Dirty Devil Rivers.
