HARTFORD, Connecticut, Nov. 29 -- The Connecticut Department of Transportation issued the following news release:

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) has initiated projects to implement signing and pavement marking improvements at unsignalized municipally owned and maintained intersections. The systemic application of these low-cost proven safety countermeasures at higher crash-risk, stop-controlled intersections aim to lower the potential of future crashes.
