MCALLEN, Texas, Nov. 27 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas, Alamdar S. Hamdani, issued the following news release:
A 51-year-old Edinburg resident has been ordered to federal prison for attempting to import more than 20 kilograms of meth into the country, announced U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani.
Richard Nares pleaded guilty May 2, 2022, to importation of 500 grams or more of meth.
Chief U.S. District Judge Randy Crane has now sentenc . . .
