SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Nov. 21 -- The U.S. Attorney, Jaime Esparza, for the Western District of Texas issued the following news release on Nov. 20, 2023:

A federal grand jury in San Antonio returned an indictment charging a San Antonio man with 11 counts related to wire fraud and money laundering.

According to court documents, James Michael Bergeron, 42, allegedly devised a scheme to secure funds made available through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Restaura . . .
