MADISON, South Dakota, Nov. 18 -- Dakota State University issued the following news:

Nanocon, Dakota State's annual free gaming convention, broke its attendance record this year, bringing in just over 1,100 people throughout the four-day event.

"This is the third year in a row we've broken our attendance record," said Chad Compton, a junior Computer Game Design major, and producer and director for Nanocon. Past Nanocon attendance has been under 1,000.
