SALEM, Oregon, Nov. 16 -- Gov. Tina Kotek, D-Oregon, issued the following news on Nov. 14, 2023:
Governor Tina Kotek announced today that she will appoint Joshua Pond to be the District Attorney of Columbia County, effective immediately. Pond is currently a prosecutor in the Columbia County District Attorney's Office. He fills a vacancy created by the departure of Jeff Auxier.
