SALEM, Oregon, Nov. 9 -- Gov. Tina Kotek, D-Oregon, issued the following news on Nov. 8, 2023:
Today, Governor Tina Kotek announced the appointment of Joseph M. Charter as Jackson County Justice of the Peace. The appointment is effective January 5, 2024.
"Judge Charter is an experienced adjudicator and a dedicated member of the Jackson County community," Governor Kotek said. "I look forward to seeing his work as Justice of the Peace."
