Westinghouse Electric Company today announced its selection by the Department of Energy for a Front-End Engineering and Experiment Design contract to support commercialization of its eVinci(TM) microreactor. The DOE funding supports planning for the deployment of the eVinci Nuclear Test Reactor at Idaho National Lab.
