HOUSTON, Texas, Oct. 21 -- Texas Southern University issued the following news:
The Texas Southern University Board of Regents elected Regent Brandon L. Simmons as its new chairman during its regular meeting on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
Chairman Simmons is an entrepreneur, investor, and former corporate attorney. He is an experienced board member, having served on numerous corporate boards for early and growth stage companies and multiple nonprofit boards.
