WASHINGTON, Oct. 19 -- The White House Office of Management and Budget issued the following statement of administration policy on Oct. 18, 2023, on a Senate joint resolution (S.J.Res. 32) providing for Congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection relating to "Small Business Lending Under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B)".

The resolution was introduced by Sen. John Kennedy, R-Louisiana, and 45 cosponsors.
