Save the Children Calls for a Ceasefire in Gaza as Casualties Soar & Water Runs Out

FAIRFIELD, Connecticut, Oct. 18 -- Save the Children, an organization that says it is giving children a healthy start in life, opportunity to learn and protection from harm, issued the following news release on Oct. 17, 2023:

More than 1,000 children have reportedly been killed in 11 days of airstrikes on Gaza--one child every 15 minutes[1]--with children making up a third of total fatalities in Gaza, Save the Children said on Tuesday, calling for an immediate ceasefire.
