WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 -- Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee, issued the following news release:
Following a "productive" trip to Communist China, U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo admitted to U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) today that she sees "no reason to visit Taiwan."
The United States relies primarily on Taiwan for semiconductor chips, within the purview of the Department of Commerce.
