NDSU Researcher Receives $3.2 Million Grant for Alzheimer's Research

FARGO, North Dakota, Sept. 29 (TNSres) -- North Dakota State University issued the following news:

Jagdish Singh, NDSU chair and professor of pharmaceutical sciences, has received a $3.2 million federal grant to investigate whether increasing a specific protein in the brain could help treat Alzheimer's Disease when delivered intravenously or via a nasal spray.

National Institutes of Health R01 grants are among the most competitive and prestigious research funding awards . . .
