WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- Rep. Chris Pappas, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release:

With less than two weeks until the U.S. government runs out of funding, and after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy sent members home without passing legislation to keep the government open, Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) urged House leadership to stay in Washington and pass a bipartisan agreement to keep our government open and functioning for Granite State families and small businesses.
