WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 -- Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
WASHINGTON--U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters announced that the U.S. Senate confirmed the nomination of Dr. Lisa Cook to serve an additional, full term on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Dr. Cook is the first Black woman to serve on the Board. Last year, she was confirmed by the Senate to fill an unexpired term on the Board.
