WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release on Aug. 31, 2023:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of white supremacist flyers in Scituate, R.I.

Flyers promoting white supremacist groups were distributed to homes and public places in Scituate several times this month. Police are investigating the incide . . .
