WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 -- Rep. Jack Bergman, R-Michigan, issued the following news release on Aug. 17, 2023:
Today, the Department of the Air Force announced it will undertake two significant new actions to expedite the cleanup of DoD's per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) releases at the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Iosco County, Michigan.
