WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- Sen. Deb Fischer, R-Nebraska, issued the following news release and letter:
U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) and 38 fellow Republican Senators recently sent a letter to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael Regan requesting the withdrawal of the Clean Power Plan 2.0 proposed rule.
In the letter, the Senators state that the EPA has overstepped its authority, is acting counter to Congressional intent, and is disregarding . . .
