WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued the following news release:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has selected Eric Powell as the new resident inspector at the River Bend nuclear power plant in St. Francisville, Louisiana.
"Eric Powell's technical experience and regulatory perspective will assist the NRC in carrying out its mission to protect people and the environment and ensure the continued safe operation of River Bend," said NRC . . .
