AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 15 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release on Aug. 14, 2023:

Governor Greg Abbott today joined members of The University of Texas (UT) System Board of Regents to announce a transformative partnership between UT Austin and UT MD Anderson Cancer Center to build a new hospital and comprehensive cancer care center on UT Austin's campus, bringing the nation's top-ranked oncology clinicians and health care providers to Austin.
