LANSING, Michigan, Aug. 9 -- The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy issued the following news release on Aug. 8, 2023:
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) today announced that the City of Flint's Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) monitoring has shown the 90th percentile for lead to be 8 parts per billion (ppb). This result marks the seventh consecutive year the city's water has met the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
