WASHINGTON, Aug. 9 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release on Aug. 8, 2023:
Today, Crain's Detroit Business reported that Gotion wants to begin hiring for its planned project in Mecosta County. The report stated, "Gotion promises 2,350 new direct jobs. The average hourly wage is $24.50." For a 40-hour work week that comes out $980 before taxes, or $50,960 over 52 weeks.
