Justice Dept.: Doctor and Office Manager Charged for $1.3M COVID-19 Loan Fraud Scheme

WASHINGTON, July 20 -- The U.S. Department of Justice issued the following news release:

An indictment was unsealed yesterday charging a Nevada doctor and his wife with fraudulently obtaining approximately $1.3 million in COVID-19 pandemic relief loans through the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

According to court documents, Kofi Sarfo, 58, of Las Vegas, is a medical doctor and the owner and president of Vista Med . . .
