TRENTON, New Jersey, July 26 -- Gov. Phil Murphy, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on July 25, 2023:
Governor Phil Murphy today announced his intention to nominate Kaitlan Baston, MD, MSc, DFASAM as Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Health. Dr. Baston will assume the role in August following the retirement of Commissioner Judith Persichilli.
