Collins, King Announce Federal Resources to Treat Substance Abuse Conditions for Tribal Communities

WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Sen. Angus S. King Jr., I-Maine, issued the following news release on July 19, 2023:

Today, U.S. Senators Susan Collins and Angus King announced federal funding to support substance abuse and mental health services for tribal communities. Wabanaki Public Health and Wellness (WPHW) will receive $750,000 to help expand substance use disorder and mental health services.
