DETROIT, Michigan, July 12 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, Dawn N. Ison, issued the following news release on July 11, 2023:
A Detroit resident pleaded guilty today to engaging in an extensive unemployment fraud conspiracy with a former State of Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency contract employee, whereby they stole over $550,000 in public funds, announced United States Attorney Dawn N. Ison.
