U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker (both D-N.J.) today applauded the announcement by the U.S. Department of Transportation that the Federal Transit Administration is advancing the Hudson River Tunnel project into engineering, putting it on track to receive $6.88 billion in federal funds - one of the largest ever federal awards for a mass transit project.< . . .
