CHEVY CHASE, Maryland, July 7 (TNSgov) -- The Michigan Society of Addiction Medicine issued the following news release and letter:
On July 5th, the Michigan Society of Addiction Medicine (MISAM) sent a letter to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) in support of proposed policies 2310-OBSUT and 2323-Hospital. Together, these policies would allow expanded reimbursement for SUD treatment provided in office-based, emergency department, and inpatient settings.
