DETROIT, Michigan, July 1 (TNSper) -- Wayne State University issued the following news:
The Wayne State University Board of Governors voted unanimously today to elect Kimberly Andrews Espy, Ph.D., as the university's 13th president, effective Aug. 1, 2023. Mark Gaffney, chair of the Board of Governors, made the announcement.
Espy will succeed M. Roy Wilson, who has served as president since Aug. 1, 2013, and announced last year that he would not be renewing his contract . . .
