HALLOWELL, Maine, July 1 -- The Maine Public Utilities Commission issued the following news release on June 30, 2023:
The Maine Public Utilities Commission (Commission) approved a reduction in Standard Offer electric rates today that will impact residential, small and medium-class customers of Central Maine Power and Versant Power's Bangor Hydro District. The reduction is 1 cent/kWh which will result in cost savings of about $5.50 for an average residential customer of both utilitie . . .
