MACOMB, Illinois, June 29 (TNSper) -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:

Western Illinois University Recreation, Park, Tourism, and Hospitality Associate Professor Jeremy Robinett has been named the University's Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR), beginning July 1.

The FAR position is one the NCAA requires to be filled at each of its member schools. The appointee serves as a liaison between Athletics and the University's faculty.
