LOGAN, Utah, June 21 (TNSres) -- Utah State University issued the following news:

In 2007, NASA launched a spacecraft carrying a primary payload built by Utah State University's Space Dynamics Laboratory to study parts of Earth's atmosphere. The AIM satellite, short for Aeronomy of Ice in the Mesosphere, carried the Solar Occultation For Ice Experiment, or SOFIE, payload built by SDL.
