LANSING, Michigan, June 15 -- Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel issued the following news release on June 14, 2023:

Today in the Ingham County Circuit Court Amanda Root was sentenced to 42 months in prison on one count of embezzlement of $100,000 or more and two counts of filing false tax returns, announced Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
