WASHINGTON, May 16 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on May 15, 2023:
U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker (both D-N.J.), along with U.S. Representatives Lauren Underwood (D-Ill.-14) and Alma Adams (D-N.C.-12), reintroduced the bicameral Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act, historic legislation to save the lives of pregnant women and mothers and address every driver of maternal mortality, morbidity, and disparities in the United States.
