WASHINGTON, June 25 -- Rep. Ted Lieu, D-California, issued the following news release:
Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County), Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) and Senator Corey Booker (D-NJ) introduced the "Therapeutic Fraud Prevention Act of 2021", which bans for-profit conversion therapy. The practice fraudulently seeks to change an individual's sexual orientation or gender identity based on bunk science and has been recognized by the national community of profession . . .
