WASHINGTON, June 25 -- Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wisconsin, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Moore announced $2,412,144 for local Head Start programs She helped secure the grant funding as part of the American Rescue Plan. In response, Congresswoman Moore released the following statement:
"I'm a former Head Start parent, and I know the value of these programs on families and children. Supporting these programs in Congress is an opportunity for me to pay it . . .
