CONCORD, New Hampshire, June 20 -- The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services issued the following news release:
A cyanobacteria bloom has been observed on Captains Pond in Salem, NH. Samples collected from a shoreline exceeded the State threshold of 70,000 cells/ml of cyanobacteria. Samples contained cyanobacteria taxa; Anabaena/Dolichospermum. Cell counts ranged from 107, 500 cells/ml to 6.25 million cells/ml from areas from various accumulations along the shoreline. S . . .
